Eyehope funds training for all health professionals who are treating patients with sight problems. We approach training needs in two ways:

  • Supporting individual training requirements where significant benefits are identified
  • Utilising the skills and experience of our volunteers to run national training courses. These have become recognised entries in the annual Ophthalmology calendar.

 

Our volunteers run courses and meetings for medical professionals throughout the UK and Ireland.

St. Thomas’ Laser Course

Saturday 4th November 2017: St. Thomas’ Hospital, London SE1 7EH

Now in its 3rd year.  An intensive practical course on Laser techniques for Ophthalmologists.

CPD certificate and Laser Safety Certificates provided

(The RCOphth normally award 5 points for your CPD – to be confirmed)

Trends in Ophthalmology – 43rd Annual Meeting

Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd February

The Royal Society, London

The 2017 meeting was very well attended with over 200 delegates on both days. The evaluation, based on 133 returned surveys, shows that 93% of delegates thought the meeting overall was very good to excellent.
