Moin Mohamed, one of the Ophthalmology Consultants at St Thomas’ Hospital, London and his son Zach, are currently raising money by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2023. Their aim is to raise much needed funds for two charities close to their hearts:

• Fulham FC Foundation is a brilliant local charity which supports children and young adults with disabilities, through inclusion in sport, in South West London. This charity supports the Fulham Badgers, UK’s first Down’s Syndrome Football Team, and has an amazingly positive impact on the lives of the members.
• Eyehope, which is linked via a Global Health Partnership programme with Muhimbili Hospital in Dar es Salaam, provides essential equipment to prevent blindness such as lasers for treating eye diseases like diabetes and glaucoma, as well as teaching and training eye specialists in Tanzania.
